Bought this back in February from the Grace website to add to my 21Pro foot selection. Still not entirely sure what happened during my 2nd use of this foot but I was suddenly staring at a little spring laying on top of my quilt top. Upon closer inspection of the foot and looking at the picture on the box, it appears the little tab holding the spring in place that applies pressure to the wheel had catastrophically failed by snapping off and ejecting the spring out on to my quilt. I immediately took the foot off and did not get to test it any further.
This foot might be quite the "Wonderfoot" and you might have better luck with it; however, I recommend saving your money as this foot seems to break too easily and definitely was not worth its $200 price tag.
This foot is impossible to set up correctly for tension. With other quilting feet working beautifully , switching to this foot means the needle will not even pull up the bobbin thread. I have had it for a year and a half and never got it to work. Plus service has been horrible. The one technician didn’t know why you were suppose to change the screw on the needle and suggested I not change it and see what would happen! That would have ruined the foot!! Now I am getting no answer to my email requests for support. Save your money!! Especially in Canada where this is SO expensive. There are lots of other ways to quilt in the ditch. I am very disappointed and cannot recommend Grace products AT ALL!!
