Guess What Everyone!
The Speed Control and Sure Stitch are now compatible with the new Juki 2000Qi and Juki 2010Q sewing machines!

The difference between the Speed Control and Sure Stitch is, The Speed Control takes the place of the foot pedal on your machine, like an on/off button. It sells for $69.95 plus shipping. Click here to learn more about the Speed Control.

The Sure Stitch regulates the Stitching as you move the machine on your frame and also has a pulse button (speed control built in) which is very nice for little detail work. It sells for $559.95 plus shipping. Click here to learn more about the Sure Stitch.

Belinda,When we first came out with the Speed Control, we had it made with the thread cutter also, because back then a lot of machines didn’t have a thread cutter. Most of your home sewing machines have one of their own built in now and really, it is better to use that one if you can, because on some machines, it takes away some of the power of the machine when you have both the Speed Control and its thread cutter plugged into the machine. If you are having a hard time reaching the Thread Cutter on your sewing machine, we know have a Cutter (Grace Cutter Switch)that attaches separately to your machine. Some machines have a place to plug it in and some don’t. It is nice though for people who can’t reach the switch their machine, and it can be placed on the front to back part of the frame, depending on where you are quilting.
Marguerite,
For most machines, you want to put the speed on your machine at the Rabbit. I also start with my Speed Control at about a 1:00 position and then I can speed it up or slow it down from there. Every machine is a little different. The Speed Control is NOT a stitch regulator. It only takes the place of the foot pedal. So, if you are getting big stitches, then turn the dial up clockwise a little or slow down your movement.

Is there a way to use the sure stitch and the cutter on the speed control at the same time. If so where would you connect the speed control? Someone suggested I try this but with the sure stitch plugged up I can't decide where to plug the speed control into the JukiTL2010Q.
